| Present simple and present continuous | Present simple
| 1. Underline the present simple verbs.
The earth goes round the sun at an angle. The north end turns toward the sun in June, July and August. The north end turns away from the sun in December, January and February. Also, because the earth is at an angle to the sun, sunrise and sunset differ from one country to another. For instance, during summer in England, the sun rises at about 5 am while it sets about 10 pm. But in Egypt, the sun rises at 5:30 am and sets about 8:00 pm.
I usually get up early at six o’clock, and then have my breakfast. I walk to work as I live quite near it. Sometimes, when there is a lot of work, I work overtime and I have my dinner there.
